About the author
Thomas B. Warren held the B.S. degree in education, mathematics, and Bible from Abilene Christian University; the M.A. Degree in religion and philosophy from the University of Houston; and the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in philosophy from Vanderbilt University. He did additional graduate study in religion, theology, New Testament, Greek, and philosophy from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Texas Christian University, and Harding Graduate School of Religion. In various schools, he served as President, Executive Vice-President, Dean, Departmental Chairman, and Professor. He served as editor of a nationally and internationally circulated religious journal for more than twenty years. He wrote and edited forty books. A number of them concern the fields of marriage, family, and ethics.
He was a member of a number of scholarly societies. He frequently spoke on lectureships and religious meetings around the nation.
