About the Book The Story of the Restoration is probably the best short history of the Restoration Movement in print. It is excellent for use in Bible classes or in private reading.
About the Author
Bill Humble, Ph.D., is retired as a Professor of Biblical Studies, Director of the Center for Restoration Studies and Academic Dean at Abilene Christian University.
Preaching tours have taken him across Asia, Africa plus North and South America. He has been the speaker in several Bible and archaeological studies produced on video.
A leading scholar of the Restoration Movement, Dr. Humble has recorded the lives and locales of the 19th-century Restoration leaders across America and in the British Isles. He has produced a video series of class resources focusing on the lives of Restoration leaders. Some of these include “Light From Above,” which explores the life of Alexander Campbell, and “Fire in Dry Stubble,” which studies Barton W. Stone and the famous Cane Ridge Revival.
Dr. Humble and his wife, Geraldine, have two children: Eric and Rebecca Liles.
