About the author
Jack P. Lewis has earned two Ph.D. degrees, one from Harvard University and one from Hebrew Union College. He has published eleven books, edited others, and has written several hundred articles, lectures, and chapters for books. He has taught Bible at Harding University, including the Harding Graduate School of Religion, from 1954 to 1989, and still teaches part time. He has lectured widely, visiting every continent except Antartica. He has conducted over 30 tours of the Bible lands.
He is an honored professor and preacher, and is presently an elder at the White Station Church of Christ in Memphis, Tennessee. His wife, Annie May Alston, is a well-known Bible teacher and an honored librarian of religious works.
