About the Book
This work is based on the belief that effective leadership in the local church begins with an understanding of the nature and mission of the church and develops with the willingness to establish realistic goals which enhance that mission. The key concepts of motivation, organization, delegation, and communication are explored. Essential leadership characteristics are discussed.
“Leadership in the church is one of the paramount needs today. Norman Hogan’s new book, Leadership in the Local Church, when studied and practiced will strengthen leaders. This volume can be studied over a 13 week period. The timely topics developed by the author are an outgrowth of his many years of preaching, teraching, and research.”
E. Claude Gardner, President emeritus

“This book has an excellent blend of the practical and the academics. The ample use of scriptures, the questions at the end of each chapter, and the timely illustrations add greatly to this work.”
